HI-REZ Projections/Service was founded in 1992 by Gary Guidi and Joel Cohen. Both are engineers and Videophiles with personal experience with Video projectors to the early 1970’s.

HI-REZ was initially formed to acquire and rebuild industrial CRT projectors in order to offer high quality video projectors to the do-it-yourself home theater builders. That is still a major part of our business. These projectors are brought up to original specifications and outfitted with a set of new CRT’s to assure the best possible picture from each projector. Each is also sold with a full one year warranty that is the equivalent of a new product warrantee.

Over the last 17 years, HI-REZ has serviced and modified several thousand units which include CRT, single lens projectors as well as flat panel displays. Eventually we grew to be one of the world’s largest video service centers. In addition to supporting our own business, we now service most kinds of video display devices and components and are an authorized warrantee service center for most display manufacturers.

HI-REZ also stocks parts and consults on repairs for dealers who prefer to service components that they have sold or installed.
