Return Policy

Hi Rez Service one time, thirty-day return program means you can return your New or Remanufacture projector and/ or accessories to us should you be dissatisfied with your purchase .You must return all packages to us by 2nd day freight, insured, with original packaging, documentation, blank warranty card, manual and accessories. Please call us before shipping anything.

If you choose to return your Remanufactured Video Projector it must be returned with in thirty days of the original receipt. At that time we will refund you the purchase price, less a low 20% restocking fee. Returns on credit card orders will be charged an additional 2.5% handling fee.

If you choose to return your New Video Projector it must also be returned within thirty days of the original receipt. At that time we will refund you the purchase price, less a low 20% restocking fee and a 10% depreciation of value fee. If the bulb has more than 20 hours on it, we reserve the right to charge you an additional 5% for the depreciation of the bulb life. Returns on credit card orders will be charged an additional 2.5% handling fee.

** These terms are considered void if, after receipt of the projector it has either been broken, dropped or has any signs of physical damage beyond basic wear and tear.

There are no returns or exchanges available on lamps and "special order" products; i.e.: custom cases, long or short lenses and special-ordered mounts.

In the case of a defective product, one that is DOA (dead on arrival) either new or remanufactured, no charges will apply. Defective merchandise will be exchanged for the same make and model or for a product of equal value when you return the original product within 7 days. After 7 days, you must contact the manufacturer according to the product warranty.

Easy Exchange Program

So you want to exchange your new or re-manufactured projector for another model––no problem. Hi Rez Projections Inc also offers a one time only, seven-day exchange program with no restocking fee. You may trade-up to a different projector model of equal or greater value and pay only the difference between the two selling prices on the two products. For exchanges on NEW projectors you will be charged an additional 10% depreciation fee. You also cover freight and insurance for returning the first projector and shipping the second unit. Please note that the second unit will not be shipped until we have confirmation that the original projector has been received in our office. Exchanged projectors require RMA numbers and shipment by 2nd day freight, insured. Do not ship projector without the RMA number.

For all returns, please call us at 508-881-9959 and ask for the Customer Service department. All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which can be obtained by calling the Hi Rez Projections Inc customer service number listed above. The RMA number must be included with the shipping address as shown below.

For Items Damaged During Transport


Hi Rez Projections endeavors to use reliable and reputable carriers, but occasionally shipping damage does occur. Resolving the problem of transit damage or loss depends on the cooperation of all parties. All shipping damage claims must be made against the common carrier; therefore, it is imperative that you follow these guidelines:

1.) Inspect all shipments upon arrival. If damage or loss is apparent upon delivery, do not accept the shipment until you make a notation of the damage on all copies of the carrier's pro bill and have the driver sign all copies to acknowledge the notation. Do not sign a clear receipt for damaged or missing cartons or there will be no basis for a claim.

Ask the carrier to make a detailed inspection of the damage. File a claim with the carrier. Cooperate and follow up as necessary to secure final settlement.

2.) Even if damages are acknowledged in writing by the driver, you must request an inspection by the carrier and retain the merchandise, carton, and package materials at the address to which shipment was made until the carrier authorizes movement. The carrier must provide you with an inspection report. In case of concealed damage, inspection must be requested within 5 days of receipt of shipment.

3.) Immediately advise Hi Rez Projections Inc of all damages or problems. DO NOT RETURN MERCHANDISE TO Hi Rez Projections Inc. File your claim with the carrier, enclosing copies of the bill of lading (signed by the driver) and inspection report as support. Keep all packing materials and boxes with the damaged product. Do not throw anything away.

Although Hi Rez Projections Inc will provide every assistance possible, we cannot be responsible for the actual filing of claims on the carrier or accept liability for un-collectable freight claims.

Warranty

" New in Box" and "Remanufactured" merchandise includes the manufacturer's standard warranty excluding consumable items such as, but not limited to lamps, tape, and paper. Manufacturers may include an extended warranty service beyond their standard warranty period on certain items. All warranty work and repair is handled directly through the manufacturer.

Limitation of Liability

Hi Rez Projections Inc shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential, incidental, special or exemplary damages arising out of or in any connected with this agreement or the products, including but not limited to: lost profits, lost data, or any claim based on indemnity or contribution, or the failure of any limited or exclusive remedy to achieve its essential purpose or otherwise. Purchaser's exclusive remedy, as against Hi Rez Projections Inc, shall be the repair or replacement of defective parts.
